Information we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and the profile details you choose to add. If you write for us, your author profile and published work are public by design. We also record basic, aggregated reading activity — page views and story engagement — to understand which stories land.

How we use it

To operate your account, publish and attribute your work, send the newsletters you opt into, moderate comments, and improve what we commission. We do not sell personal information.

Newsletters

Newsletter subscription is opt-in and every email carries an unsubscribe link. You can also change your preference from your profile at any time.

Comments and community

Comments are moderated before publication. Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team, and we may remove material that breaches our community guidelines.

Business records

Company and founder records in the business register are published for discovery. Only details supplied for publication appear there; internal network notes stay private.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information in line with South Africa's POPIA. Email privacy@everydaymuse.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable period.
